Felt by many Chileans to be their national drink, although this is hotly contested by the Peruvians who also claim it as theirs.
If you can't get hold of pisco, the nearest substitute would be a white (clear) brandy of reasonable quality.

Here's the list of what you need:
3 shots of pisco or clear brandy*
2 shots sugar*
1 shot of lime juice*
1 egg white
3-4 ice cubes
Dash of Angostura bitters
*Use the same shot glass to measure all the ingredients - then the ratios will be right.
What To Do
Stir the sugar into the pisco until dissolved
Mix in the lime juice
Add the ice cubes and egg white and blend with a blender
